How to Report a Suspicious Looking Email to our Support Team

If you receive a suspicious looking email regarding your itBit account, please contact our Support Team immediately. Such instances may include, but are not limited to:
 

  • receiving a successful login notification when you haven't recently logged in to your account
  • receiving a successful login notification with an IP address that isn't yours
  • receiving a password reset request that you didn't initiate
  • being requested to provide valuable information such as personal or transaction data
 

In any of these or other suspicious cases, DO NOT click on any links or concede any information to the sender. For our support team to best assist you, we request that you please take the following steps based on your email service provider.

If you are using Gmail, follow the instructions below:
 

  1. With the email open in front of you, go to the drop down arrow to the right of the email and select "show original"
  2. Copy and paste the information into a notepad
  3. Send it as attachment to help@itBit.com with a subject line of "Suspicious Email"


If you are using another email service provider, follow the instructions below:
 

  1. Lookup instructions on how to download the full email from your provider, and display it
  2. Copy and paste the information into a notepad
  3. Send it as attachment to help@itBit.com with a subject line of "Suspicious Email"
