Why Wasn't My Withdrawal Processed?

Last Updated: Apr 11, 2018 12:41PM EST
If your withdrawal hasn't been processed, it's either pending or has been cancelled. See below for the most common reasons why your Bitcoin and fiat withdrawals haven't been processed.

Pending

Bitcoin
  • itBit broadcasts Bitcoin transactions to the blockchain on a fixed, periodic schedule (view it here). If you recently placed the withdrawal order, the next batch might not have been broadcasted yet.
  • If it's the first time you're using the Bitcoin address you entered as the withdrawal destination and are withdrawing a significant amount of Bitcoin, you need to confirm the withdrawal through an email we sent you. Check your inbox for an email with subject "Confirm your itBit withdrawal." Your withdrawal will be broadcast in the immediate batch after confirming.
Fiat
  • itBit processes fiat withdrawals on a fixed, periodic schedule (view it here). If you recently placed the withdrawal order, the next batch might not have been processed yet.

Cancelled

Bitcoin
  • If the the Bitcoin address you entered as the withdrawal destination is a shared address or belongs to a third party, the withdrawal may be cancelled.
Fiat
  • If the the banking information you entered as the withdrawal destination is not in your name (i.e. belongs to a third party), the withdrawal may be cancelled.
