Why Can't My Onboarding be Completed?

If you received a notice that your onboarding process could not be completed, please follow the instructions that apply to your account type.

For Institutions:

Please provide us with the necessary documentation for your institution as specified here to complete your onboarding process.

For Individuals:

Below is a list of potential reasons why your application was denied. You can try to create a new account with a different user name and proceed with the following itBit account holder requirements in mind:

US Customers
 
  • You must be at least 18 years old to be an itBit account holder
  • You must pass our screening and validation process, including KBA ("Knowledge-based Authentication") questions
  • Your identity must be validated against our database check and public records search
  • You must enter a valid residential address (i.e. not a PO box)
  • You must be a supported user

Non-​US Customers
 
  • You must be at least 18 years old to be an itBit account holder
  • Your identity must be validated against our database check and public records search
  • You must enter a residential address (i.e. not a PO box)
  • You must provide a valid government-issued identification document (i.e. passport) and/or a proof of residential address document (i.e. utility bill or bank statement)
  • You must be a supported user
