itBit supports limit orders. Limit orders empower the trader by allowing precise order entry. A limit order is an order to buy or sell at a specified price. A limit order will only be filled if the asset's price reaches the limit price specified by the trader. Therefore, a trading opportunity could be missed if the asset's price moves away from the limit price before it is be filled. Placing a limit order will either establish the trader as a "market maker," which creates exchange liquidity, or "market taker," which provides convenience and certainty of transaction. itBit doesn't collect any fees on market maker orders, but collects a 0.20% fee on market taker orders.
